Plan 9 – Informing and raising awareness of teachers

A number of teachers believe that students plagiarize unintentionally. Most of them put their energy into the pedagogy of research and creation rather than into verifying what has been learned.

Any of these reasons will do. To get around individualistic hurdles and bring back the spirit of collective action, the project has to be presented positively: let us be participants in the social transformation of knowledge and not just spectators.


• Provide information on the projects underway in the institution by way of internal newsletters or mail.

• Gather and circulate the reports of the experiences of other institutions of learning.

• Organize discussion forums.

• Provide clear information on the number of cases handled by disciplinary committees and their outcomes.
