How to get to Uni Mail

The conference will take place at the University of Geneva, in the Uni Mail building located at 40 Boulevard du Pont-d’Arve, 1211 Geneva

Room MR 170 (ground floor)

From the airport
Take any train (they leave every 10 to 15 minutes; check the departure screens). The end station for all the trains is the Gare Cornavin train station in Geneva. Tickets from the ticket machines in the airport are good for the entire trip all the way to the university. (The machines say TPG or CFF. You can get a free ticket from the machines in the baggage claim area that are located near the exit.)

From Gare Cornavin (the main train station)
Tram—It is a 10-15 minute ride on the number 15 tram (going in the direction of Palettes). The tram stop is directly in front of the train station. The ticket costs 3 CHF at the ticket machines. (Unfortunately, they only take change, but they do accept euros). But check with your hotel to see if you can get a free pass through them.

On foot—It will take you about a half hour to walk to Uni Mail. The walk will first take you past Bel-Air, then Place Neuve / Uni Bastions, and finally past the Plainpalais plaza to Uni Mail.

“Uni Mail” stop on the number 15 tram (going in the direction of Palettes); 15 minutes from Gare Cornavin
